How we review software
LaunchRadar combines submitted product listings, curated supplier information and editorial comparisons. Our purpose is to help you decide what to evaluate, with a particular interest in software built in Europe.
Sources and dates
Dated buying guides link to the official product, pricing and technical documents used for that review. The source-check date applies to that review; it is not a claim that every catalog entry was rechecked on the same day. Prices and plan limits describe the configuration stated in the text.
We distinguish a provider’s documented claim from an independent test. Unless a review explicitly describes a hands-on test and its method, the assessment is based on public documentation. A listing is not a security certification or a guarantee of regulatory compliance.
Compare the same job
A timer does not automatically replace a workforce platform. A cookie banner does not replace a complete privacy operations system. We compare the required workflow, billing unit, deployment model, integrations and important limits before recommending a shortlist.
Editorial recommendations explain who a product may fit and when another option deserves consideration. Comparison tables use alphabetical ordering rather than a paid or ownership-based score.
Ownership and data location are separate questions
Company location, ownership, application hosting, file storage and access by processors are different facts. European infrastructure can coexist with international processing. A self-hosted option changes who operates the service; it does not remove the work of upgrades, backups or configuration.
Use the sources and the provider’s current contract to verify the particular product you intend to buy. Catalog indicators are a starting point for that check.
Our own products and corrections
Products in our portfolio are labelled as our own on their profiles and cards. They are evaluated alongside external options, and a comparison should explain their limits as well as their fit.
Found a stale price, incorrect description or changed policy? Use “Suggest an edit” on the product profile and include the current source. Owners can claim their listing through the existing verification process. Submit a product to suggest a new listing.
