The breadth of the E&C suite genuinely earns its place in that context, and SpeakUp (NL) or EQS Integrity Line (DE) are the strongest EU-native alternatives at that scale: both are ISO 27001 / ISAE 3000 audited, serve Fortune 500-scale customers, and have the multi-jurisdiction and multi-language depth to be a like-for-like replacement.

If you're an EU SME or mid-market company that landed on EthicsPoint because it was the name your procurement team recognised, there are EU-hosted options built specifically for the Directive that will cost a fraction of the price and go live in a day. Whistleblower Software (DK), Hintbox (DE), and LegalTegrity (DE) all cover the Directive thoroughly, hold ISO 27001 certification, and offer flat-rate pricing with no per-employee fees. EthicsPortal (PL) at €500/year flat is worth a look if budget is the primary driver. Whistlechannel is in this same tier — EU-hosted, Directive-focused, aimed at SMEs and mid-market — and a reasonable option if you want a Swedish-run service. Where it won't match EthicsPoint is anywhere you need the broader E&C suite: policy management, CoI disclosures, training modules, or a 24/7 global hotline with native-speaker operators.
